1.0 GENERAL OPERATION 

Press POWER   key to switch cash counter on 
Use   and   keys to select a required denomination 
Place banknotes or coin scoop with coins of the same denomination on the cash counter 
Remove to register a count or press ENT 

key to abort count 

When cash counter is empty, ENT 

key can be used to reset running totals as follows: 

Press ENT key to reset running totals for current denomination 
Press and hold ENT key to reset running totals for all denominations 

Use AUTO 

key to auto scroll denominations and select scroll direction: 

    Lower to higher denomination scroll symbol 

   Higher to lower denomination scroll symbol 

 Lower to higher and back to lower denomination scroll symbol 

Use PRINT 

key to display print functions (section 3.0)  

Press and hold POWER 

key to switch cash counter off 

2.0 SETUP MENU 

Press and hold POWER key to switch cash counter off. Press ESC key to enter SETUP MENU

2.1 STANDBY TIME 

To save battery power, cash counter will enter standby after a period of inactivity determined by 
STANDBY setting. Select shortest practical standby time

2.2 LCD DISPLAY CONTRAST 

Highlight CONTRAST using

Use   and   keys to change LCD contrast to personal preference 

2.3 BACKLIGHT TIME 

LCD backlight uses significant amount of battery power. To save battery power, the backlight will 
be switched off after a period of inactivity determined by BACKLIGHT setting. Select shortest prac-
tical backlight time or disable completely

2.4 SET TIME AND DATE 

Highlight SET TIME & DATE using

Press ENT key to display current time and date

keys to select time or date and press ENT key 

Use   and   keys to change between HRS-MIN-SEC and DD-MM-YY 
Press ENT key to set 

When finished, press ESC key to exit setup menu 

 

 
 

3.0 PRINT FUNCTIONS 

Press PRINT key to display PRINT MENU 
Print Single:  Print running totals for currently selected denomination 

Print Total: 

Print grand total 

4.0 WEIGHING SCALES 

Press and hold POWER key to switch cash counter off 

Press   key to enter weighing scales 
Use 

 

and

   

keys to change engineering units. (Available units: grams, pounds, ounces) 

Place up to 3Kg of weight on the scales 
Use PRINT key to print the result 

5.0 CALIBRATION MENU 

Allow 5 minutes warm-up time (cash counter on) before attempting calibration 

(In setup menu, change standby time to 10 minutes to stop counter from switching off. When finished, 

reduce standby time to save battery power) 
If red light is flashing, connect a charger and fully charge cash counter before attempting calibration. 

Calibration should be performed while the counter is running of battery power 
Place counter on a flat, stable surface. Do not lean or make contact with the surface during calibration. 
Make sure the room is free from strong air drafts caused by air conditioning or open windows 

To enter calibration menu, press and hold POWER key to switch cash counter off 
Press ESC key and select CALIBRATION MENU from SETUP MENU 

5.1 CASH COUNTER CALIBRATION 

To maintain accuracy, cash counter can be calibrated at any time using a precise 100g weight (not 

included) 

Select CALIBRATE SCALES from CALIBRATION MENU 

Start calibration and follow screen prompts 
Use ESC key to abort calibration at any time 
On completion, select one of two options: 

If any banknotes or coins were previously calibrated, select 
CURRENT SETTINGS, otherwise select FACTORY DEFAULTS  

5.2 SCOOP CALIBRATION 

Cash counter is supplied with a scoop, used only for counting loose coins. To use a different 
scoop to the one supplied, it must first be calibrated 

Select CALIBRATE SCOOP from CALIBRATION MENU 
Start calibration and follow screen prompts 
Use ESC key to abort calibration at any time 

5.3 BANKNOTES AND COINS CALIBRATION 

Cash counter is supplied calibrated for a particular currency and normally does not require recali-
bration
