Card replacement procedures
This chapter provides procedures for replacing cards in a PCM30 line
drawer (PLD).
The procedures in this chapter assume that you are at the PM level
(peripheral module level) of the MAP terminal. If you are not at this level,
get to the PM level from the CI level (command interpreter level) of the
MAP terminal by typing
>MAPCI;MTC;PM
and pressing the Enter key.
When a card is replaced, the following information must be noted in office
records:
•
the serial number of the replaced card
•
the date of replacement
•
the reason for the replacement
