ON/OFF Switch
In the “OFF” position no power is being supplied to the MIG gun. In the “ON”
position power is supplied to the main transformer and control circuit
“MIN/MAX” and I/2 (Fine) Voltage Settings
There are two voltage adjustment switches on the front panel of machine. These
are for setting the voltage. Refer to the “set up” chart inside the wire feed
compartment for initial adjustment settings.
Wire speed setting
Adjustment of the wire feed speed.
Ground cable and clamp
The ground cable and clamp are attached to the work piece to complete the
circuit allowing the flow of current needed to weld.
Welding Cable and MIG gun
The welding wire is driven through the welding cable and MIG gun to the work
piece. It is attached to the drive system, the gun trigger activates the drive motor.
Thermal Indicator
If the internal temperatures exceed safe operating temperatures the machine will
shut down. The Thermal overload light will come on to indicate this, allow 15
minutes for cool down before the light goes off and the temperature falls into the
allowable operating range.
Power Cord
The power cord connects the welder to the 115 volt power supply. Plug the 15
amp plug into a 115 volt/20 amp receptacle to supply power to the welder.
