STEP 3. INITIAL PUMP & ENGINE PREPARATION
Prepare
Water Pump
Verify pump oil level

Note: The pump is shipped with oil.
1.
Verify that oil level is halfway up the sight
glass.
2.
If oil level is low, fill using Universal
Tractor Transmission Oil or Mobil 1 Synthetic 15W-50 oil.
Prepare
Engine
Fill the engine with oil
.
Note: The engine is shipped without oil.
Refer to the Engine Manual to locate oil-fill port and for instructions on filling. Use the oil
grade and quantity specified in the Engine manual. Note: Engine is equipped with an Oil
Drain Hose. To account for the volume of the Drain Hose, an additional ounce of oil will
need to be added to the quantity specified in the Engine Manual.
