The ruby is not symmetrical: one side is flat, 
the other side has a spherical dent. The 
spherical side must face the LEFT side 
aperture housing. See picture above. There is 
a cut out in the plastic housing where the 
aperture can fit. The flat side of the aperture 
must face up at this point.
