The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during Hot Tub use may lead to
unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.

Individuals using medications should consult their physician before using the Hot
Tub since some medications may induce drowsiness, while other medications may
affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
e)
Individuals suffering from obesity or with a medical history of heart disease, high
or low blood pressure, circulatory system problems, multiple sclerosis, thyroid
disease, or diabetes should consult their physician before using the Hot Tub.
f)
Since excessive water temperatures have a high potential for causing fetal damage
during the early months of pregnancy, pregnant or possibly pregnant women
should limit Hot Tub water temperatures to 100
F (38
C). You should also
consult your physician before using the Hot Tub.

Hypothermia (heat stroke) is a dangerous condition brought about by excessive
heat. It especially affects the very young, elderly, individuals under the influence
