4. Fully unwind the 12 V car connection cable.
5. Prior to plugging in the DC connection cable to the cigarette lighter socket, turn on
the ignition. It prevents a power surge that can lead to the unit overheating and/or
becoming a potential fire risk.
6. Insert the cigarette lighter connector to the cigarette lighter socket in a vehicle or
boat.
7. Slide the ON/OFF switch forward to the
ON
position to turn the device on.
The
white LED will light up.
8. To switch off the device, slide the power switch back to
OFF
position and disconnect
the 12 V connection cable.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
WARNING:
Always disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning or
maintenance.
•
Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
•
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can
damage the product.
•
Keep the ventilation slots free of any dust and dirt, so that heat can be released and
the device is not damaged.
•
Ensure that accessories are fully dry before storing when not in use.
•
Store the appliance and its connection cable in a cool, dry place, protected from
moisture and direct sunlight.
•
Store the accessories in their storage case.
EMPTYING DUST CONTAINER, CLEANING PROTECTION FILTER AND FILTER
1. Press the release button to remove the dust container.
2. Hold the dust container over a dust- bin. Carefully remove the filter protection with
filter and empty the dust container.
3. If required, clean the dust container with a damp cloth. Let it dry completely before
assembly.
NOTE:
It is advisable to empty the dust container after each use.
4. Tap the filters gently.
5. Occasionally wash the protection filter and filter under cold running water. Let it dry
completely before fitting back into the device.
