Activating Your Phone’s IR Capability

Before using the IR capability of your phone, it must be activated. 
Activation is temporary, lasting only a few minutes. The 

 icon 

blinks in the upper left corner of the display when the IR capability 
is activated. Be sure this icon is displayed before attempting to send 
or receive data using IR.

To activate IR using the phone menus:

From the standby mode, press

You can also create a voice command to activate your phone’s IR

your phone recognizes the command, it replays it and 
“Found. Activate infrared” displays.)

Note:

IR capability automatically deactivates after two minutes.
