character appears after the word, there are no more words in
the dictionary that correspond to your key presses. At this point, you
can add the word to the dictionary by pressing
Spell
.
WRITING COMPOUND WORDS
To write a compound word quickly (for example,
bluejay
):

Write the first part of the word (
blue
).

Press
(do not enter a space). The underline disappears from the
first part.
Write the second part of the word (
jay
).
Inbox and outbox folders
After you have read an incoming text or picture message, the phone saves
the message in the Inbox folder of the Messages menu.
You can save a message that you want to send later in the Outbox or
Archive folder.
ERASING MESSAGES
Press Menu, select Messages and select Erase messages.
To delete all the messages in a given folder, scroll to the folder and press
OK. Then press OK when Erase all read messages from folder? is displayed.
To delete all read messages from all the folders, scroll to All read and press
OK. Then press OK when Erase all read messages? is displayed.
ARCHIVE FOLDER AND MY FOLDERS
To organize your messages, you can move some of them to the Archive
folder, or add new folders for your messages.
