Baseband Description and Troubleshooting
Audio faults
No sound in earpiece & microphone (refer to MIC headset, Audio PA circuit
design)
Check speaker
Press *0521# on the keymat in idle mode to enter test mode-> manual test-> audio-> ringer, if there is
no sound from speaker, check the connection of SPK+ and SPK- test needles, the circuit from test
needles to speaker and the physical appearance of speaker.
Check MIC and receiver
Press *0521# on the keymat in idle mode to enter test mode-> manual test-> audio-> main mic+receiver,
speak at the MIC and listen at the Receiver, if there is no voice, check test needle of MIC and Receiver,
the circuitry and the outlook of MIC and Receiver.
