• If you are not going to use it for a long period of time
16. Clean the product itself with a slightly damp cloth.
17. The power cord of the appliance should never be replaced by the user himself. In case of
necessity contact an assistance centre authorized by Nodis or professionally qualified staff.
18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
19. Keep out of the reach of children and never leave the unit unattended when switched on.
20. Make sure that the supply cord does not come into contact with any parts, which generates
excessive heat.
21. If you assume that the operating of the product without danger is not any longer possible
please make sure that the product will be disconnected and not used any longer. The safe
operating of this product is not any longer possible, if:
·the product or the power cord is damaged in any way
·the product does not work any longer
·after heavy damage through transportation
22. Never immerse the plug or the appliance in water or other liquid.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children)with reduced physical,
sensory or metal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsibly for their safety.
24. Always use the appliance on a secure, dry level surface.
25. In case of failure and/or malfunctioning of the appliance, turn it off and do not tamper with it.
For any repairs contact an assistance centre authorized by Nodis.
26. At the end of the life-cycle of the appliance, put it out of service by cutting the power
cord after disconnecting the plug from the outlet. For the disposal of the appliance follow the
regulations which are valid in your place of residence.
Special Safeguards.
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, wash all the removable parts with water and
dishwashing detergent, rinse and dry them thoroughly. Clean the motor unit only with a wet
cloth. Never immerse the motor unit into water or other liquids and never wash it under running
water.
2. Switch off/ unplug the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts which move
in use.
3. Never touch the blades while the machine’s plugged in.
4. Keep fingers, hair clothing and utensils away from moving parts.
5. Never blend hot oil or fat.
6. Use only original accessories.
7. Do not operate the stick blander more than 1 minute at one time; allow a few minutes rest for
next use-it’ll overheat.
8. Do not make the appliance work without food.
Cutting blades
1. Care is needed when handing cutting blade, especially when removing the blade from the
bowl, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
2. Remove the chopper blade before emptying the bowl.
3. Never remove the cover until the blade has completely stopped. Do not touch any moving part,
especially blades.
4. After the operation, turn off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet. Wait for the
motor stop before removing food and the accessories.
