Do not use a malfunctioning tool.
If the switch doesn't turn on and/or off, it's a
pretty clear sign not to use your rotary tool, and to get it repaired or replaced. If

Disconnect your rotary tool from the power source before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or putting it in storage.
This way, you'll
ensure it will not turn on accidentally.
When the power supply is interrupted
(for example, in case of a power failure
or when the mains plug is pulled), immediately set the on/off switch to the
“off” position to prevent uncontrolled restarting.
To keep your rotary tool well-maintained,
regularly check if any parts are
misaligned, damaged or broken, or if there's anything else that might affect its
performance. If you notice anything odd, definitely bring the power tool for
repair
BEFORE
using it.
Find a qualified repair person
who only uses replacement parts identical to
the original to service and repair your rotary tool. This will ensure that the
safety of it is maintained, and there will be no unpleasant surprises.
