Quick Clean

8.
While cleaning, periodically check for excessive
foam in recovery tank. Pour a recommended foam
control solution into the recovery tank if excessive
foam appears. This will prevent vacuum motor
damage (Figure 27).
FIG. 27
ATTENTION: Excessive foam buildup will not
activate the float shut-off screen.
9.
If squeegee begins to trail water while operating,
recovery tank must be drained (See DRAINING
TANKS).
10. When finished cleaning, turn machine off and
wipe off blower and vacuum hoses. Store hoses
on machine.
11. Push machine to drain sit and empty recovery
tank.
NOTE: After cleaning one area, it is best to empty the
recovery tank before proceeding to the next area to be
cleaned.
DRAINING TANKS
When finished cleaning, the recovery tank should be
drained and cleaned. If you have left–over rinse
solution, it can remain in solution tank for next use.
Drain solution tank when storing machine for extended
periods or when transporting machine.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, unplug
cord from wall outlet.
DRAINING RECOVERY TANK
Recovery tank must be emptied prior to refilling
solution tank.
1.
Turn machine off, unplug power cord and push
machine to drain site.
2.
Remove drain hose from holder. Turn drain hose
knob counter–clockwise approximately three full
turns and pull out plug to drain. Keep hose above
water level when removing plug (Figure 28).
FIG. 28
3.
Rinse out recovery tank after each use to prevent
foul odor. Be careful not to spray water into float
shut–off screen.
4. Replace drain hose plug tightly after draining.
ELEVATED DRAINING
Use the convenient pump–out procedure if drain site
exceeds 13 inches (33 cm.) in height.
1.
Attach gray blower hose to blower hose connector
and to vacuum hose connector (Figure 29).
FIG. 29
ATTENTION: Make sure recovery tank lid is secure
before activating blower.
2.
Remove drain hose knob, direct hose into
elevated drain site and activate blower (Figure 30).
