Plug the power plug securely all the way in to an electrical outlet.
An improperly connected power plug could overheat, and dust adhering to the plug could cause a fire or electric
shock.
Metal pieces adhering to an improperly connected power plug could also result in a fire or electric shock.
Tools with a ground wire need to be grounded properly.
Tools that are not grounded properly could cause an electric shock.
Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
Inspect tool cords periodically and if found to be damaged have them repaired by an authorized service facility.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if damaged.
Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Before further use of tool, it should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its
intended function.
A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced at an authorized service center
unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual.
Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service center.
The use of any accessory or attachment other than those recommended in this instruction manual could present a
risk of personal injury.
Do not remove the label or nameplate on the tools.
If labels or nameplates are broken or peeling, for a replacement label or nameplate contact the retailer where you
purchased the tool.
General Safety Rules For Electric Screwdrivers
WARNING
Use the tools indoors.
This tool is not dust and leak-proof. Exposure to dust, sand, or rain while using it outdoors could cause a failure.
While using the tool, hold the main body securely to keep from losing your grip.
Not holding it securely could cause the tool to rotate in your palm, possibly causing an accident or injury.
Be cautious about tool recoil.
High torque and low-speed rotation has a large recoil on the hands and arms, which could last for a long period of
time. Secure the tool or refer to recoil measures, such as using our Pistol Grip or reaction receiver.
Avoid sudden starting of the tool.
Before you connect the tool to the power, make sure the changeover switch is in the neutral position. If the switch is
in forward or reverse mode, it can start suddenly, possibly causing an accident or injury.
When exchanging the tip tool (bit), ensure the tool is disconnected.
Attempting to change the tip of the tool (the bit) while it is rotating could cause an accident or injury. Disconnect the
power and then perform the task once the tool has completely stopped.
Whenever changing a torque setting, ensure the tool is disconnected.
If a torque setting is changed while rotating, it could cause an accident. Disconnect the power and perform the task
once the tool completely stops.
Do not overload to the extent that the motor locks or the clutch malfunctions (does not catch).
Doing so could cause smoke, fire, failure or injury.
If the tool is accidentally dropped or hit, check to ensure there is no breakage, cracking or deformation.
Breakage, cracking or deformation could cause electric shock or injury.
When the tool becomes overheated, or you notice anything abnormal during usage, switch it OFF immediately and
request that the tool be repaired.
CAUTION
Do not bundle power cords and signal cables together.
Noise from the power cord can penetrate the signal cable, causing a malfunction.
Use a balancer to protect power cords and signal cables.
If a balancer is not available, please handle power cords and signal cables with care. If an unreasonable load is
applied, it could increase the risk of damage.
Using the tool for longer than the specified duration could cause overheating. Modify the operational time, or
alternate between several electric screwdrivers.
There is a risk of burns. In addition, it could decrease product life or cause a malfunction.
