shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into 

the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Before placing removable Cooking Pot in the cooker base, ensure pot and cooker base are clean and by 

wiping with a soft cloth.
