Drive System
The rider sweeper drive system comprises an electric motor1, fig. 9, which drives the front wheel 2, and a control unit 3 which controls forward/reverse direction.
By pressing on pedal 4, the operator determines the direction and speed of travel from 0 - 3 mph(0 - 5 km/h).
Caution !
For safety reasons the rider sweeper only functions with an operator on board. Microswitch 5 positioned under the seat detects the presence of an operator and
activates the electrical circuits.
Steering System
The rider sweeper is steered by means of steering wheel 1, fig. 10 which is connected to the front drive wheel 2 by means of drop arm linkage 3. The steering
wheel requires no adjustment.
