1.13 Trailer

When City Ranger 3500 is equipped with the approved 
coupling ”THULE/BRINK 530097, class A50-X approval no. 
e11 00-5950,” the following trailers can be connected:

Trailers without brakes 

max. 750 kg

Trailers with overrun brakes 

max. 1800 kg

Vertical load on trailer coupling 

max.100 kg

Remark! 

There is no brake assist system (brake line 
connection) for trailers on City Ranger 
3500.
Do not connect trailers with a brake assist 
system to City Ranger 3500.

Connecting trailers

Coupling: connect the trailer to the coupling and make 
sure that the connection lock is activated. Lift the support 
wheel on the trailer.

NB: If the trailer is fitted with brakes, remember 

to attach the security wire on the trailer to the 

coupling.

Light: to connect the light on the trailer, insert the cable 
plug from the trailer into the connector on City Ranger 
3500. Check its function. (Picture 2)

Hydraulics: if the trailer has a hydraulic tipping function, 
connect the hydraulic hose to the snap coupling at the 
rear. (Picture 3)

Warning!

Make sure that no one is standing 
between the machine and the trailer or 
near the working area.
