1

Plug the Power Cord

(3)

into a properly grounded outlet.

2

Step DOWN on the Pedal

(7)

and lower the Upper Housing

(9)

 to a comfortable operating position.

3

Turn the Main Power Switch

(6)

ON.

4

Turn the Brush Height Adjustment Knob

(13)

one notch at a time to the point where the machine just starts to pull itself

along. Low number settings are usually for low-pile carpet; higher number settings for deep pile carpet. Do not set the
brush too low or the vacuum will be hard to push and vacuum efficiency will be reduced.

5

To vacuum under desks or beds, the Upper Housing may be lowered further by stepping on the Pedal again.

6

Change the bag whenever the “Bag Full” Indicator

(11)

shows red.

If the Indicator shows red before the bag is full, the inside of the bag may be coated with very fine dust, or debris may
be built up somewhere between the brush and the Upper Housing.

USING THE WAND

OPERATION

13

Using the Wand

The flexible Vacuum Hose and Wand make it easy
to clean high surfaces and tight corners. To use
the  Wand,  put  the  handle  in  the  upright  locked
position. The brush motor will stop automatically.
Remove the Wand from its holder at the back of
the machine.

Place the Wand back in its holder

after use.
