MANUAL TIMER BATTERY CHARGER TROUBLESHOOTING

Proper functioning of the charger is indicated by the following sequence of events.  When the timer knob is
turned to “ON”, the transformer hums and the ammeter registers proper charge.

Proper diagnosing and repair requires identifying the malfunction from the following list, performing the indi-
cated tests and repairing or replacing the malfunctioning items.

Malfunction Description
