Work break and work finish
NOTICE!
The pressure of the roller brush on the floor should be relieved whenever you finish
work or if you stop using the machine temporarily. This will considerably increase
the service life of the brush.
•
Press the red lever on the right-hand side of the front of the machine downwards
to do so (see illustration on the left).
Operation
Start cleaning. If there is much foam, add a defoaming agent to the dirt water tank.
Now switch on:
4. Spraying pump (A)
5. Suction unit (B)
6. Brush drive (C)
Push the handle forwards slightly and the machine will move.
The roller brush rotates in the forward direction. You can change the direction by
squeezing the lever (D) on the right-hand side of the push handle. The machine will
then work backwards. Again push the handle forwards slightly. Clean slowly and
evenly in the forward and backwards directions.
ATTENTION!
Empty the dirt water tank with the drain hose before it fills right up, or water may get
into the suction motor.
Notes for application
•
Work always from light to shade, i.e. from the window towards the door.
•
Work always away from the cleaned surface towards the unclean surface.
•
Make passes away from where the power lead is lying.
•
Clean the next pass, slightly overlapping the pass that has already been cleaned.
Emptying the dirt water/fresh water
tank
Once all the cleaning agent solution has been used up, the dirt water tank is full.
Emptying the dirt water tank:
•
Switch off the brush drive, spray pump and vacuum assembly.
•
The dirt water tank is emptied through the drain hose.
•
Use different buckets for dirt and clean water; never fill the clean water tank with
dirty water.
Emptying the fresh water tank (see illustration on the left):
•
The fresh water tank can be emptied using the spray pump (A) and the PVC drain
hose (1), which must be connected to the coupling (2) (connection for special ac-
cessories) at the rear of the cleaner.
•
Turn switch lever (3) next to the coupling to the tool symbol (vertical position)
•
Use the hose and clean water to clean out the dirt water tank and around the
nozzles and roller brush.
