Clearance adjustment between 3rd lens group and 4th lens group

① 

Measure the clearance between the mounting surface   

      of  the 4th lens group and the R1 surface of G13 lens

      (i.e. "B" of the above) with the digital micrometer.  

②

 Turn the zoom ring all the way to TELE-end (200mm), and 

     set the lens on the measurement stand.

③

 Measure the clearance between the R2 surface of G12 and 

the mounted surface of the 4th lens group (i.e. "A" of the 

left) with the digital micrometer.  

④

 Calculate the following in millimeter.

 Fit the two cutouts and three screw holes of the   

      washer (#139) in the 4th lens-group sliding frame.

⑥ 

Fit the two cutouts and three screw holes of the 4th lens

      with three screws (#124).
