Playback
Saving images takes time.
It may take more time to save images in the
following situations.
•
When the noise reduction function is in
operation
•
When the flash mode is set to
V
(auto with
red-eye reduction)
•
When the skin softening function is applied
while shooting
Problem
Cause/Solution
A
File cannot be played back.
•
File or folder was overwritten or renamed by
computer or other make of camera.
•
The COOLPIX S6000 is not able to playback
movies recorded with another make or model
of digital camera.
–
Cannot zoom in on picture.
Playback zoom cannot be used with movies,
small pictures, or pictures that have been
cropped to a size of 320 × 240 or smaller.
–
Cannot record or play back
voice memos.
•
Voice memos cannot be attached to movies.
•
Voice memos cannot be attached to images
taken with other cameras. Voice memos
attached to images using another camera
cannot be played back on this camera.
Cannot use quick retouch,
D-Lighting, skin softening,
small picture, or crop.
•
These options cannot be used with movies.
•
These options cannot be used with pictures
taken at an
Image mode
setting of

•
Select pictures that support quick retouch,
D-Lighting, skin softening, small picture, or crop.
•
Camera is unable to edit pictures taken with
other cameras.
Pictures not displayed on
television.
•
Select the correct
Video mode
and
HDMI
options from the
TV settings
item.
•
Both HDMI cable and A/V cable or USB cable
are connected to the camera.
•
Memory card contains no pictures. Replace the
memory card. Remove the memory card to
play back pictures from the internal memory.
