1. BESCHREIBUNG
Die elektronischen Transformatoren sind Sicherheitstransformatoren mit Kurzschlusssicherung (sehr geringe Si-
cherheitsspannung - SELV), für 12V-Halogen-Leuchten geeignet.
Alle Modelle sind unabhängige Transformatoren der Schutzklasse II. Die Transformatoren erfüllen die Normen EN
61047 (Leistung), EN 61347-2-2 (Sicherheit), EN 55015 (Funkentstörung) EN 61000-3-2 (harmonische Verzer-
rung), EN 61000-3-3 (Spannungsschwankungen) und EN 61547 (EMV) sowie die Niederspannungsrichtlinie 2006-
95-EG und die EMV-Richtlinie 2004-108 EG. Sie bestehen den Glühfadentest bei 850°C.
Bitte beachten:
Die Produkte 320-00103 und 320-00118 gelten nach EN 60598 nicht als Beleuchtungsein-
richtungen. Der Lampenhalter darf dementsprechend nur in einer Beleuchtungseinrichtung der Klasse III nach EN
60598 installiert werden bzw. dürfen Lampenhalter und elektronischer Transformator nur in einer Beleuchtungs-
einrichtung eingebaut werden, welche die Tc-Temperatur berücksichtigt.
Schutz:
Die Transformatoren sind mit einem eingebauten, selbstzurücksetzenden Schutzsystem ausgerüstet, das den
Transformator bei Kurzschluss, Überlast oder übermäßiger Umgebungstemperatur abschaltet. Wenn die Ursache für
die Abschaltung behoben wurde, nimmt der elektronische Transformator den Betrieb wieder auf.
Dimmbarkeit:
Alle Transformatoren können mit Phasenanschnitt-
R,L
, Phasenabschnitt-

und Universal-
dimmern

gedimmt werden.
2. MONTAGE
-
Die Produkte sind ausschließlich für den Innengebrauch zulässig
, außnahme 320-00106 und 320-00107.
- Montage von Transformatoren mit den Referenznummern 320-00101, 320-00102, 320-00103
, 320-00104
und 320-00123 (siehe fig. 1).
- Für den Einbau des Transformators benötigen Sie eine Öffnung mit einem Mindestdurchmesser von 55mm und
einer Freistellungstiefe von mindestens 100mm (fig. 2)
, außnahme 320-00121 und 320-00122.
- Für den Einbau des Transformators mit den Referenznummern
320-00121 und 320-00122 benötigen Sie eine
Öffnung mit einem Mindestdurchmesser von 38mm und einer Freistellungstiefe von mindestens 100mm (fig. 2).
- Halten Sie die Mindestabstände um den Transformator und den Mindestabstand von der Leuchte ein (fig. 3).
- Die optimale Wärmeabgabe wurde festgelegt, um eine einwandfreie Funktion sicherzustellen (Abb. 4).
ACHTUNG:
die elektronischen Transformatoren sind nicht geeignet für Bedeckung von Wärme-isolierendem
Material!
- Anschlusskabel und Leitungen der elektronischen Transformatoren dürfen nicht ersetzt werden. Demzufolge
muss das Gerät
bei einem Beschädigung der Leitung verschrottet werden.
- Begrenzen Sie die Länge der Ausgangsdrähte auf 2 Meter (fig. 5).
- Schalten Sie die Ausgangsdrähte der beiden elektronischen Transformatoren nicht parallel (fig. 6).
- Halten Sie die Zuführungsdrähte (PRI) und die Ausgangsdrähte (SEC) getrennt (fig. 7).
- Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlüsse L und N korrekt mit den Transformatoren mit doppelten Eingangsklemmen
verbunden sind (fig. 8).
- Die Verwendung von Draht mit der Aderstärke 1,5mm² und 2,5mm² ist unter bestimmten Bedingungen zulässig.
Wenn die Durchschleiffunktion der Transformatoren 320-00101, 320-00102, 320-00103
, 320-00104 und
320-00123 genutzt wird, muss ein Sicherungsautomat von 10A diesen Schaltkreis absichern; Steckdosen sind
in diesem Schaltkreis nicht zulässig.
- Bei versenkten Leuchten sollten Sie die zulässige TC-Temperatur berücksichtigen. Eine Übersicht der TC-
Messpunkte finden Sie in fig. 9.
- Die Produkte 320-00106, 320-00107 und 320-00124 sind nach Schutzart IP 65 ausgelegt. Für den Anschluss
dieser elektronischen Transformatoren müssen Sie eine Abzweigdose mit derselben Schutzklasse verwenden.
Ein Klemmenblock ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Der Anschluss der Geräte muss von einer qualifizierten
Elektrofachkraft ausgeführt werden.
3. GESETZLICHE BESTIMMUNGEN
- Die Installation darf ausschließlich von einem Fachmann des Elektrohandwerks unter Berücksichtigung der
geltenden Vorschriften vorgenommen werden.
- Übergeben Sie dem Benutzer diese Gebrauchsanleitung. Sie ist den Unterlagen der elektrischen Anlage beizufügen
und muss auch eventuellen neuen Besitzern übergeben werden. Zusätzliche Exemplare erhalten Sie über unsere
Website oder unseren Servicedienst.
- Bei der Installation müssen Sie u.a. Folgendes berücksichtigen:
- die geltenden Gesetze, Normen und Vorschriften;
- den Stand der Technik zum Zeitpunkt der Installation;
- diese Gebrauchsanleitung die im Zusammenhang mit jeder spezifischen Anlage gesehen werden muss;
- die Regeln fachmännischen Könnens.

Im Falle eines Defektes an Ihrem Niko-Produkt, können Sie dieses mit einer genauen Fehlerbeschreibung
(Anwendungsproblem, festgestellter Fehler, usw.) an Ihren Moeller- oder Niko-EGH zurückbringen.
4. GARANTIEBESTIMMUNGEN
- Garantiezeitraum:
Vier
Jahre ab Lieferdatum. Als Lieferdatum gilt das Rechnungsdatum zu dem der Endkunde
das Produkt gekauft hat. Falls keine Rechnung mehr vorhanden ist, gilt das Produktionsdatum.
- Der Endkunde ist verpflichtet, Niko über den festgestellten Mangel innerhalb von zwei Monaten zu informieren.
- Im Falle eines Mangels an dem Produkt hat der Endkunde das Recht auf eine kostenlose Reparatur oder Ersatz.
Dies wird von Niko entschieden.
- Niko ist nicht für einen Mangel oder Schaden verantwortlich, der durch unsachgemäße Installation, nicht bestimmungs-
gemäßen oder unvorsichtigen Gebrauch oder falsche Bedienung oder Anpassen/Ändern des Produktes entsteht.
- Die zwingenden Vorschriften der nationalen Gesetzgebung bezüglich des Verkaufs von Konsumgütern und der Schutz
des Kunden in den Ländern in denen Niko direkt oder über seine Tochtergesellschaften, Filialen, Distributoren,
Handelsvertretungen oder Vertretern verkauft, haben Vorrang vor den obigen Bestimmungen.

1. DESCRIPTION
The electronic transformers are short-circuit-proof safety isolating transformers (very low, safety voltage - SELV),
suitable for 12V halogen lighting.
All models are class II-independent transformers. The transformers have been produced in accordance with EN
61047 (performance), EN 61347-2-2 (safety), EN 55015 (radio interference) EN 61000-3-2 (harmonic distortion),
EN 61000-3-3 (voltage fluctuations) and EN 61547 (EMC immunity) and comply with low-voltage guideline 2006-95-
EG and EMC guideline 2004-108 EG. They will pass the 850°C filament test.
Note:
Products 320-00103 and 320-00118 may not be regarded as lighting fixture fittings as set forth in EN 60598.
Consequently, the lamp holder must always be mounted in a Class III fitting in accordance with EN 60598 or the
electronic transformer and the lamp holder must always be mounted in a lighting fixture fitting, taking into account
the Tc temperature.
Protection:
The transformers are fitted with an integral, self-resetting protection system that switches the
transformer off in the event of a short circuit, overload or excessive ambient temperature. When the cause of the
interruption has been remedied, the electronic transformer starts functioning again.
Dimmability:
All transformers are dimmable with leading edge
R,L
, trailing edge
R,C
and universal
R,L,C
dimmers.
2. FITTING
-
Products are for indoor use only
, except 320-00106 and 320-00107.
- Fitting transformers with reference 320-00101, 320-00102, 320-00103
, 320-00104 and 320-00123 (see fig.
1).
- To build in all the transformers, you will need an opening with a min. diameter of 55mm and a recess depth of at
least 100mm (fig. 2)
, except 320-00121 and 320-00122.
- To build in the transformers with reference
320-00121 and 320-00122, you will need an opening with a min.
diameter of 38mm and a recess depth of at least 100mm (fig. 2).
- Please observe the minimum clearances around the transformer and the minimum distance from the light (fig. 3).
- Optimal heat emission is required to guarantee proper operation (Fig. 4)
ATTENTION:
The electronic transformers must not be covered with a thermally insulating material.
- The cords and wires of the electronic transformers cannot be replaced; if a cord or wire is damaged, the device
must be scrapped.
- Please limit the length of the output wires to 2 metres (fig. 5)
- Do not connect the output wires of the two electronic transformers in parallel (fig. 6)
- Keep the feed wires (PRI) and the output wires (SEC) separate (fig. 7)
- Please ensure that connections L and N are correctly connected to the transformers with double input terminals
(fig. 8)
- The use of 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² wires is allowed if certain conditions are met.
If the looping function of transformers 320-00101, 320-00102, 320-00103
, 320-00104 and 320-00123 is
used, the circuit must be protected by a 10A circuit breaker and no socket outlets may be incorporated into the
circuit.
- For recessed applications, take into account the permitted TC temperature. See fig. 9 for the TC measurement
points.
- Products 320-00106, 320-00107 and 320-00124 have a degree of protection IP65. In order to connect these
electronic transformers, you must use a connection box with a minimum of this IP protection standard. A clamping
block is not included. The advice of a qualified person may be necessary for the installation of these products.
3. LEGAL WARNINGS
- The installation has to be carried out by a registered installer and in compliance with the statutory regulations.
- This user manual has to be handed over to the user. It has to be included in the electrical installation file and has to
be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available on the Niko website or via the support service.
- During installation, the following has to be taken into account (not limited to list below):
- The statutory laws, standards and regulations;
- The state of the art technique at the moment of installation;
- This user manual, which must be read within the scope of each specific installation, only states general
regulations;
- The rules of proper workmanship

In case of a defect, you can return your product to a registered Niko wholesaler, together with a clear description
of your complaint (Conditions of use, stated defect…).
4. GUARANTEE PROVISIONS
- Period of guarantee:
FOUR
years from date of delivery. The delivery date is the invoice date of purchase of the
product by the consumer. If there is no invoice, the date of production applies.
- The consumer is obliged to inform Niko in writing about the defect, within two months after stating the defect.
- In case of a failure to conform, the consumer has the right to a repair or replacement (decided by Niko) free of charge.
- Niko cannot be held liable for a defect or damage as a result of an incorrect installation, improper or careless use
or wrong usage or transformation of the goods.
- The compulsory regulations of the national legislation concerning the sales of consumer goods and the protection of
the consumers in the countries where Niko sells, directly or via sister or daughter companies, chain stores, distributors,
agents or permanent sales representatives, take priority over the rules and regulations mentioned above.
