4.9 Hard Drive Setup
OVERWRITE ENABLED
：
ON:
overwrite oldest video when hard drive is full
(recommended).
OFF:
Stop recording when hard drive is full.
HDD SIZE
：
indicates the total capacity of the hard disk drive installed in the DVR.
HDD USED
：
indicates the space used in the hard disk drive for recording and the percentage used.
HDD FORMAT
：
WARNING!
This will completely erase all data on the hard drive.
Note:
You will be prompted for the password when formatting the hard drive; the default password is
“111111”.
4.9.1 Hard Drive Installation
Note:
Your DVR comes with a preinstalled Hard Disk Drive. Do not attempt to remove the hard drive.
Changing the hard drive will void all warranty. If you would like to replace the hard drive please call
Technical Support for further information.
4.9.2 Detecting Installed Hard Drive
Once powered on your DVR, the DVR will automatically
detect the installed hard drive and show the hard drive
information.
