7.5.5  Grooving wheel (43131-M001)

Replacement part: 43131-M001

1 . Open the front cover ASSY (40274-1100) 

(see 6.1 [p93])

.

2 . Set the spanner (40274-M902) to the fas-

tener (40274-M743).

3 . Set the spanner (40274-M902) to the G 

nut (40274-M744) as well.

4 . While holding the spanner (40274-M902) 

set to the fastener (40274-M743), turn the 
spanner (40274-M902) set to the G nut 
(40274-M744) counterclockwise to 
remove the G nut (40274-M744).

5 . Remove the fastener (40274-M743) to 

replace the grooving wheel (43131-M001).

6 . Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.
7 . Perform the following.

1 ) Groove calibration

 (See 8.12.4

2 ) Grooving adjustment

 (See 8.14.10 

[p253].)

3 ) Backing up the EEPROM data

 (See
