Status LEDs
The SI-Interbus has 6 status LEDs that allow visual diagnostics of the SI-Interbus
module and network. The LEDs can be seen through the ventilation holes on top of the
plastic case, as shown in
Figure 12-1 Status LEDs
The LED status functions are described in
Table 12-4 LED status functions

Bus Active or
Interbus Diagnostic active
Either the Interbus network or the remote
diagnostics is active.
RBID
Red
Remote Bus Isolated or
Disconnected
The Remote bus OUT interface is isolated
or disconnected.
RD
Yellow
Remote bus Disabled
Indicates the disconnection of the outgoing
remote bus. Only relevant for remote bus
devices and is active in the "INTERBUS
reset" state.
TR
Green
Transmit / Receive
A PCP message is active.
UL
Green
User LED
SI-Interbus is powered up.
RC
Green
Remote bus Check
Monitors bus activity on layer 1 of the
incoming bus. RC is active when the
incoming cable is connected and the
Interbus controller is not in a reset state.
RC becomes inactive after an Interbus
reset, layer 2 timeout or power-up reset.
