To Display Caller Identity
To display caller identity (phone number) for external calls:
•
Dial 91470 followed by the phone number including STD code
•
This will allow the phone number for the Switchboard (01270 275300) to be displayed or
listed if the receiver dials 1471
Transferring Calls to an Internal Number
To transfer a Received Call to an
Internal
Number:
•
Pick up the receiver to answer the call
•
Press the
Transf…
Button, this puts the caller on hold
•
Dial the 4 digit extension
o
Include a 3 before the number for Leighton or Victoria Infirmary extensions
o
Include 14 if dialing to the 1829 Building, Chester extensions
o
Include 15 if dialing from the 1829 Building, Chester extensions
o
Include 150 if dialing to Waters Green Medical Centre, Macclesfield extensions
o
Include 151 if dialing from Waters Green Medical Centre, Macclesfield extensions
•
Once the person who you have dialed has answered you can then talk to them before
you transfer the caller through

To transfer the caller through press the
Transf…
button, replace handset
•
If the person who you are transferring to is engaged you need to press the
EndCall
button to cancel the transfer and then the
Resume
button to talk to the caller

Once the person who you have dialed has answered you can then talk to them before
