CAUTION S ON USING THIS PLAYER
1 DO NOT MOVE THE PLAYER DURING PLAYBACK
During playback, the di sc spins at high speed. So do not lift o r move the pl ayer.

2 TRANSPORTING THE PLAYER
Befo re transporti ng the playe r, be sure to remove the d isc an d turn off the
pow er, then unplug the power cord .
3 PLACE OF INSTALLATION
Sele ct a stable pl ace ne ar the TV or stereo system to w hich you are going to
connect the player.
Do n ot place the player on top of a T V or color mo nitor.
Install the player away f rom cassette decks or other devices w hich are eas ily
affected by magn etic fo rces.
4 DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS ON THE TOP OF THE PLAYER
Do n ot exp ose th is apparatus to rain, mois ture, drippin g or splashin g and no
obje cts filled with liquid s, suc h as vases, s hall be placed on the app aratus.
5 TURN OFF THE POWER WHEN NOT USING THE PLAYER
If the playe r is co nnected to your TV but not in us e, swi tch the powe r off. I t can
avoid inter ferenc e to your nor mal TV pictu re.
Nois e prob lems may also be experienced if used near a radio .
6 SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING USE OF PLAYER IN VEHICLES
We s trongl y advis e aga inst us ing the playe r while drivin g.
Most count ries an d stat es hav e laws which prohi bit or s everely restrict the
use o f the p layer in vehicles w hile dr iving.
Do n ot leav e the p layer or the batter y pack in plac es wh ere the temp erature
is ex tremel y low (about-10 C [ 14 F] o r lowe r) or e xtreme ly high (about 60 C
[140 F] or h igher) , such as ins ide the pass enger cabin or trun k in
mids umme r. Doi ng so may w arp th e oute r case or red uce the perfo rmanc e
or quality of the batter y pack .
