Quick Start Configuration Checklist
Clicking Quick Start > Check List takes you to the Quick Start Configuration Checklist page, which
contains links to pages in the graphical user interface (GUI) that should be configured when the unit is first
installed.

The items on the Quick Start Configuration Checklist are:
Product Registration (see Product Registration on page 22)
Security (see Security on page 218)
System Name (see System name on page 23 or Configure Enclosures on page 193)
Network Settings (see Configure Network Settings on page 210)
Time and Date (see Configure time and date on page 216)
Array Configuration (see Array Configuration on page 30 or Configure RAID on page 114)
Volume Configuration and Access (see Volume Configuration and Access on page 36 or Configure
Volumes on page 138)
Each item in the list displays its status on the Quick Start Configuration Checklist . If an item has a green
check mark next to it, that item has been completed with a recommended setting. If an item has a red
exclamation point next to it, that item has either not been completed or has an unrecommended setting.
