Step 6.
Restart the camera by pressing the camera lens housing downward to turn off the camera.
Wait for 5 seconds to press the lens again to start the camera back up. The camera will be
upgraded automatically and the indicator light will rapidly flash blue indicating the upgrade
is in progress. When the process has been completed the blue indicator light will transition
to a slower flashing indicating the upgrade was successful.
Step 5.
Go to where you stored the upgrade firmware and copy that file. On a
Windows Computer
open
File Explorer
and navigate to

. Select the

PF590

from the list of devices,
and double click the icon to open it. Paste the firmware update into the
"
PF590 -> Internal
shared storage
"
folder. The firmware will then be downloaded onto the webcam.
Step 4.
Press and hold the
Mode
button for five seconds. The indicator light on the camera will turn
red and the camera will enter USB mode so the firmware upgrade can be started.
Step 3.
Turn on the camera and connect it to your PC.
