Disassembling the LCDM from the driver's console depends on the installation conditions on
site. For that reason, only the most important points of disassembly as follows:
1. Ensure that the power supply to the LCDM is disconnected.
2. Release the 4 mounting bolts on the front plate.
3. Release the rear plug-type connectors of the LCDM.

Return Material Authorization Process
All material returned from the field to New York Air Brake (NYAB)/KB, must have a Return Ma-
terial Authorization (RMA) number. A NYAB/KB representative will provide the RMA number.
To receive a RMA number and to get additional information regarding the RMA process, ple-
ase contact an agent of NYAB/KB.
The temperature of the rear panel of the LCDM can
104° F (+40° C) immediately after opera-
tion. To avoid serious personal injury, allow sufficient
time for panel to cool down before removal.
Failure to comply with these instructions may lead to
irreversible physical injuries which may have fatal
consequences.
