38. Position a fixed jack stand

wooden plug

39. Position a jack stand under the rear of the engine so as
to be able to safely release the hoist with the coupling
device.
Add a rope or chain

also on the front of the engine.
Take up the slack with the lifting device, keeping the
engine balanced.
