Smooth sections provide good cutting action in grass
hay, but require resharpening, good guards, and
frequent knife clip adjustment.
Chrome knife sections may stay sharp longer but
may be nicked by gravel or small stones.
If the sections are sharpened, be sure to maintain the
original bevel and angles as shown.

SPARE KNIFE STORAGE
Two spare knives can be stored in the frame tube.
Install drilled pins, 1, through the frame holes and
knife heads. Install hairpin cotters, 2, in the drilled
pins.
NOTE:
Spare knives do not come with the machine.
