PUSH BAR
The push bar,1, should normally be set in the highest
position as shown.
WARNING
Disengage the PTO, turn off the tractor engine
and remove the key. Wait for all movement to
stop before leaving the operator’s position.
Never adjust, lubricate, clean or unplug machine
with the engine running. Failure to comply could
result in death or serious injury.

In shorter crops it may be necessary to lower the
push bar. Remove bolts, 1, on both ends to adjust.
Reinstall and retighten bolts after adjustment is
made.
Turn the push bar end for end and upside-down if the
crop is very short.
Adjust the push bar to push the material forward
regardless of how high the crop is.
NOTE:
The push bar must be in the highest position
to install the optional crop dividers. Do not adjust the
push bar so low that the reel catches crop before it is
cut off, or the push bar will bend.
