TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
The regulator board includes the following items: regulator, generator, pilot, Piezo,
electrode, rocker switch, burner, orifice and orifice holder. If any of these
items are defective, replacement of the entire board would be easier and would not void the
warranty. Please contact your dealer if this becomes necessary.
1. If heater fails to ignite, a qualified service person should check the heater's installation.
2. It is imperative that the control compartment burners and circulating air passageways of
the heater be kept clean. This is necessary to provide adequate combustion and ventilation air.
PROBLEM
1. Pilot won’t light
2. Pilot won’t stay lit
3. No spark when Piezo
button is depressed
CAUSE
1. Gas shut off
2. Gas line not bled out
3. Not holding regulator
valve in long enough
1. Not holding pilot button
in long enough
2. Generator wires loose
at regulator terminals

1. The nut which holds the
Piezo in place is loose

SOLUTION
1. Turn gas on
2. Hold valve knob in long
enough to bleed out line
3. Hold in longer.
1. Hold button in long
enough to heat generator
2. Reposition wire and
tighten screws
3. The nuts on regulator
