99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or cleaning fluid (FOCD-CF) or distilled water
Ÿ
Dust remover (Air in a can)
Ÿ

Disconnect both cable ends for safety
reasons.
Do not stare into beams or view directly with
optical instruments.
Remove the protection cap:
- The Male connector has a lockable cap.
- The Female connector has a pluggable cap.
Check the lenses for contamination.
If there is no visible contamination

No cleaning necessary.
