outer cover
100% knitted polyester with 3D-structure.
The cover is very durable and stretchable with
a high degree of air penetration.
The bottom textile of the outer cover is made
from a friction fabric with mounted velcro,
securing the cushion to stay in position in
any wheelchair model and on any surface.

core
4 layers polyurethane foam. The cushion
is made from polyurethane with different
weight carrying properties. Two of the layers
are mounted next to the other horizontally
in the middle section. At the rear is used a
softer polyurethane foam than in the front.
This is to assure stabilization in front of the
seat bones.
On top of the lower weight carrying foam
layer, there is mounted a textile binding the
surface of the foam. This gives possibility for
reduction of total weight and increase of
weight carrying capacity.
It has side supports for increased stability
and contact area and an integrated abduc-
tion block for assistance for erection of the
upper trunk.
inner cover
The core has a white protective cover, ProTex,
protecting the core from pollution. Protex is
a semi permeable “breathing” textile made
from polyurethane. It lets vapour through,
while water and other liquids are prevented
from entering the core. ProTex is very elastic.

Model 1: 3D

The cover is very durable and stretchable with
a high degree of air penetration.
Model 2: 3D + °C
100% knitted polyester with 3D-str °C
– PCM (Phace Change material). This is a tex-
tile stabilized at 32 °C, which means it isolates
and releases heat when temperatures are mov-
ing above and under this level. The purpose of
the °C-cover, is to postpone / reduce the heat-
ing process of tissue and skin.
The bottom textile of the outer cover is made
from a friction fabric with mounted velcro,
securing the cushion to stay in position in any
wheelchair model and on any surface.
4. Potential risk
The cushions are “pre-fit”, and needs no more
fitting as long as mounting- and washing
instructions are followed. If the user has open
ulcers, we recommend the user not to sit on
the cushion.
5. Mounting description
The cushion is taken out of the packing and
placed in the seat of the wheelchair. Place
the cushion according to instructions on the
label attached to the bottom fabric of the
outer cover. Check that the velcro and friction
fabric is facing down towards the seat plate.
The front of the cushion should be even with
the front of the seat plate.
