Joining Enclosures Together
You can expand your installation by joining an AR1001A
expansion enclosure to a
AR1000A
enclosure. The procedure
involves removing one side panel of the
AR1000A
enclosure
and attaching it to the open side of the
AR1001A
expansion
enclosure. The
AR1001A
enclosure includes expansion
hardware and vertical and horizontal trim that cover the gap
between the joined enclosures for a finished appearance.
Before joining
enclosures
Sometimes you must change enclosure configurations before
joining enclosures together. Often this means reversing doors
on one of the enclosures or moving the trim from one side of an
enclosure to the other.
Preliminary
steps for joining
enclosures
1. Reverse the door(s), if necessary. (See page 17.)
2. Remove the side panel from the existing enclosure or bay.
(See page 13.)
3. If necessary, move the finishing trim from one side of the
AR1001A to the other side. (See page 30.)
