CMS Component
The CMS component is the main component in the CMS product. CMS is a set of
pure Java classes. This component provides a secure application platform where
subsystems (CA, RA, DRM, and OCSP) can be tightly integrated with a PKI
infrastructure. Depending on the installation configuration selection, CMS can be
easily installed as a CA, RA, DRM, or OCSP Responder, where subsystem-specific
HTTP servlets are registered at startup to provide subsystem-specific services.
