Note:

 Add New Hardware will not detect the card if you have installed 

Windows 95 after the card was already in the computer. There are two 
ways to work around this:

Move the card to another PCI bus master slot, restar t the 

computer, and reinstall the driver.

Reconfigure your computer with the following procedure:

1.

Double-click My Computer, then Control Panel, then System.

2.

Click the Device Manager tab.

3.

Select Other Devices (question mark icon).

4.

Select PCI Ethernet Controller.

5.

Click the Remove button.

6.

In the Confirm Device Removal window, click OK.

7.

Close the Control Panels and restar t your computer.

8.

When the New Hardware Found window appears, follow the 
instructions for installing the driver on page 12 of this 
manual.

AppleTalk is Active in the Chooser.

CONFIGURATION

If you want to manually set up your PCI card for a par ticular network 
environment, you can configure the card by assigning speed and 
duplex settings. Manual configuration is different depending on 
whether you are operating under Windows or the MacOS. Please refer 
to the appropriate section below.
