Rack the system.
Rail kit:
follow instructions in rail kit.
System cabinet:
install in system cabinet.

Place the bezel over the front of the system.
Install system
Cable controller for switchless ONTAP
(option A)
or for switched ONTAP
(option B)
See your network administrator for help connecting to your switch.
Connect both power cords
Both power cords MUST be used for all units.
Attach cable management arms.
Connect port e0c/0c to the data switch.
NOTE: Port e0c is required;
other ports are available if needed.
Connect the wrench port
to the management or subnet switch.
For option A only
Connect port e0a to port e0a
and port e0b to port e0b.
For option B only
Connect port e0a and port e0b
to the cluster switch.
Strap the cables to the
cable management arms.
