CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Always turn OFF the power switch then unplug unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• The outside of the base should be cleaned using a damp, soapy cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• The cook pot and glass lid should be washed in hot, soapy water, rinsed and dried.
NOTE:
The cook pot and glass lid are dishwasher-safe.
• Allow the cooking pot to cool prior to cleaning. Thermal shock (placing HOT bowl on
cold surface or filling with cold water) can result in cracking of the pot. Soak the pot in
warm water for several minutes to remove tough residue.
•
DO NOT
use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals to clean your
slow cooker, as these could damage the finishes.
WARNING: Never immerse the entire slow cooker in water or any other
liquid as this will damage the slow cooker and void the warranty.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
STORAGE:
• Always ensure that the slow cooker is unplugged and in the OFF position
before storing or cleaning.
•Make sure the appliance has cooled down completely before cleaning or
storing.
• Store the appliance in a clean, cool, dry area out of the reach of children
and pets.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance when storing.
• Do not place any heavy objects on top of the appliance during storage.
• Save the packaging for transporting or storage of the appliance when not
in use for extended periods of time.
• All three cooking pots nest inside the heating base for storage.
DISPOSAL:
• This appliance may not be disposed of with ordinary household waste.
Electrical and electronic waste must be disposed of properly.
• Contact your municipal authorities for further information on product
disposal.

8. To turn the slow cooker off, press the OFF button and unplug the appliance from the
outlet.
NOTE:
Never place very cold or frozen foods into the cooking pot if preheated.
If the cooking pot is frozen, DO NOT run under hot water, the ceramic pot could
crack.
