EC-Type certificate for this garment has been issued by Noti-
fied Body No. 0321 - SATRA Technology Centre Ltd., Wyndham
Way, Telford Way, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN16 8SD, United
Kingdom, as specified by (EU) Regulation 2016/425 for Personal
Protective Equipments. The EU conformity declaration is availa-
ble at following address: www.nerispa.com.
USE
The garment, manufactured in compliance with the general re-
quirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, is intended to visually signal
the presence of the user when in daylight and when illumina-
ted by vehicle driving lights in conditions of darkness (EN ISO
20471:2013 +A1:2016) and to protect the wearer from the following
weather conditions: rain, snow, fog and ground humidity (EN
343:2003 + A1:2007). The garment is suitable for operators who
work in cold workplaces, characterised by the combination of hu-
midity and wind and where the air temperature is lower than - 5
°C. (EN 342: 2004). Below is an indication, based on the thermal
insulation, of the minimum temperature at which the body can
be kept in conditions of thermal neutrality for 8 hours and the
minimum temperature at which exposure of one hour can be
born with an acceptable body cooling rate.
The values are based on the conditions that the relative humidity
is approximately 50%, the air velocity is between 0.3 m/s and 0.5
m/s and the movement velocity approximately 1.0 m/s.
Wind may considerably increase heat loss by convection.
During continuous exposure to cold, one should avoid perspiring
because the absorption of humidity progressively reduces the
insulation capacity.
LIMITS FOR USE
Not suitable for protection against heat/fire, chemical hazards,
electrical hazards or any application not specified in this infor-
mative note (potentially fatal hazards or hazards of irreversible
harm to the health).
