2. If reception is poor, connect the outside antenna.
Note:
Before attaching a 75 ohm coaxial lead (the kind with a round wire going to an outside
antenna), disconnect the supplied FM wire antenna.
Caution:
To avoid noise, keep antennas away from the system, the connecting cord and the AC
power cord.
Connecting the Headphone
Connect a pair of headphones to the phone jack.
No sound comes out of the speakers.
Note:
Be sure to turn down the volume before
connecting or putting on headphones.
Excessive sound pressure from earphones and
headphones can cause hearing loss.
Connecting the AC/DC Adaptor
Insert the AC/DC adaptor's DC plug into the unit, then insert one side of AC plug into a wall
outlet, and your system is at your command!.
Caution:

Be sure to unplug the power plug from the outlet when going out or when the unit is not in
use for an extended period of time.
* The mains plug is used as the disconnect device and it shall remain readily operable.
