Switching On/Off the compensator:
Press again to change to TILT mode.
Press the button to switch the sensor:
- On  TILT ON display or
-
Off

TILT OFF display.
At the end of each setting or change, press the
button to store the current settings and to
return the display to the normal setting  Angle
Measuring Mode .
8 Troubleshooting
Note:
If the errors cannot be rectified using one of the listed remedies, the ET-5 must be examined
by an authorised customer service agent or by NEDO.

The telescope is turned too fast for the

TILT
The instrument is outside the range of the
TILT sensor. Re-level the theodolite
again. If there is no improvement

TIP: Switch off the TILT sensor (see 7.1),
the instrument can work without it.
