7 Use

7.1
Starting up the unit
• Release the compensator lock, push slide
outwards (see figure to the right).
• Set up the unit according to the intended
use. Ensure the levelling range of 3° is
not exceeded.
• When you have finished using the unit,
lock the compensator (see figure to the
right).

7.2 Self-levelling

The
Cross
Liner 2
is self-levelling. If the unit
is placed in a slanted position of up to 3° in
any direction, the laser beams are plumb
and horizontal.
If the 3° range is exceeded or if the compen-
sator is locked, the projected laser line and
the corresponding LED display flash every
second.
7.3 Operation
Danger!
Never look into the laser beam!
Never direct the laser beam at people or animals!

• Switch horizontal beam (H) (see chapter 3.1 Function) on / off using "
H
" button.
• Switch vertical beam (V) (see chapter 3.1 Function) on / off using "
IV
" button.
