3.1 Safety, Side channel fans
3.1.1 Inlet
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
• Side Channel Blowers have high suction power. Objects, clothing and hair
can easily be sucked into the fan and cause injury. Do not wear long, loose
hair or wide, loose clothes! Use a hair net.
• Make sure that there are no persons nearby the inlet side when the fan
operates.
• The fan must never operate without a wire guard because the rotation
impeller can cause serious injury.
• Never put the hand directly at the inlet.
3.1.2 Outlet
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
• There is a powerful stream of air from the discharge side or outlet. Foreign
bodies that might have been sucked into the fan can be thrown out at high
speed and cause injury.
• All foreign objects and debris that could exit through the fan’s outlet must
be filtered out before going through the fan.
• Never put the hand directly at the outlet.
• Do not insert objects into the fan through the outlet.
3.1.3 Permitted use
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
Do not use the fan to transport aggressive, toxic or explosive gases and gases
with high moisture content.
4 Description
4.1 Intended use
This unit is a very powerful electric powered industrial dry vacuum cleaner
suitable for general cleaning, extraction of dust from grinding machines and
for powder transportation.
