5.11 Setting Gain
The camera can adjust the analog gain (x1 to x17.8) and the digital gain. As
shown in the figure below, increasing the gain setting increases the gradient of the
camera’s response curve and results in a higher camera output for a given
amount of light. Analog gain can be changed by setting the “AnalogGain” control
register. Digital gain can be changed by setting the “DigitalGain” control register.
