7.3.3 Way of load failure of the next-startup configuration file
Perform the following task, when failing in a load of the next startup configuration file.
1) Please confirm whether the next startup configuration file is set.
Step1: Execute dir commands in user view to verify the next-startup configuration file at
Flash.

(*) -with main attribute (b) -with backup attribute

When starting, the file transcribed in "*" is a read file.
Step2: To specify a next-startup configuration file, perform the following task in user view.
<QX>startup saved-configuration config1.cfg
When starting next time, config1.cfg is read.
2) Please confirm whether the current startup mode is "skipping configuration" by the
boot menu.
Step1: Power on/off , or reboot the switch by the command and make switch start.
Step2: Enter the Boot ROM menu
Software of Version 5.4.12 or later version:
BOOT MENU
1. Download application file to flash
2. Select application file to boot
3. Display all files in flash
4. Delete file from flash
5. Restore to factory default configuration
6. Enter bootrom upgrade menu
7. Skip current configuration file
8. Reserved
9. Set switch startup mode
0. Reboot
Ctrl+F: Format File System
Ctrl+D: Enter Debugging Mode
Ctrl+T: Enter Board Test Environment
Enter your choice(0-9):
Software of Version 5.4.8 or previous version:
BOOT MENU
1. Download application file to flash
2. Select application file to boot
3. Display all files in flash
4. Delete file from flash
5. Modify bootrom password
6. Enter bootrom upgrade menu
7. Skip current configuration file
