7)  After the program file is downloaded, the terminal displays the following information:

8)  Cut a connection in a hyper terminal once. Reset HyperTerminal’s baud rate to 9600 

bps. If setting is completed, it's connected again in a hyper terminal. 

9)  The menu is indicated again, so input "0", and please return to the Boot menu. Restart 

the switch by inputting "0" by the Boot menu. 

 

6.5  Upgrade of Boot ROM software by remote 

6.5.1  Upgrade of software by FTP 

When a terminal is connected to the switch by a network, Boot ROM software can be 

upgraded remotely. 
Carry out the FTP server as which the user name, a password and a file directory are set 

right on the local end. An IP address of a terminal is 10.10.110.1. Log on to the switch via 

Telnet and send a host program to the switch using a FTP. 
The Boot ROM software program is made SWITCH.app. After logging on to the switch 

using Telnet, follow the next procedure. 
1)  Download the Boot ROM software to the switch using FTP.
